About medication
ADHD medications fall into two categories: stimulants (controlled substances — methylphenidate, mixed amphetamine salts) and non-stimulants (atomoxetine, viloxazine, guanfacine, bupropion). Your clinician will discuss which approach fits your situation, including the trade-offs of each.
