About Sinad Labs

What is Sinad Labs?

Sinad Labs is a direct-to-consumer telehealth platform connecting patients with independent nurse practitioners. We act as a management services organization — we handle the non-clinical operations so clinicians can focus on care.

Are Sinad Labs clinicians employees of Sinad Labs?

No. Our clinicians are independent contractors who operate through their own professional entities. They own all clinical decisions.

Is Sinad Labs a real medical practice?

Sinad Labs itself is not a medical practice. The clinicians in our network operate licensed clinical entities and provide all medical care.

Visits and care

How long does a visit take?

The intake takes about ten minutes. Async visits are typically reviewed and responded to within a few hours during business hours, often the same day. Video visits are 15 minutes.

Will I see the same clinician each time?

For follow-up visits within the same care plan (for example, monthly weight management visits), yes. For brand-new visits, you'll be matched again — but your medical history and prior visit notes carry over.

Can I message my clinician between visits?

Yes. Every visit comes with 14 days of follow-up messaging at no extra cost (30 days for mental health visits).

Do I need a webcam?

Only for synchronous video visits. Async visits work entirely through messaging.

Pricing and insurance

How much does a visit cost?

Visits start at $59 for an async primary care visit. See our pricing page for details.

Do you take insurance?

Not currently. We're cash-pay so we can keep visits fast and pricing transparent. We provide a superbill you can submit to your insurer for possible reimbursement.

Can I use my HSA or FSA card?

Yes. Both are accepted at checkout.

What if I'm not satisfied with my visit?

If our clinician determines you are not a good fit for telehealth before completing your visit, you'll be refunded in full. If you're unsatisfied with a completed visit, contact us within 7 days.

Prescriptions

What pharmacy do you use?

Your choice. Prescriptions are sent electronically to whatever pharmacy you prefer.

Can you prescribe controlled substances?

Generally not for new patients. Federal and state telehealth rules restrict controlled-substance prescribing without an in-person evaluation. Your clinician will tell you if a particular medication can't be prescribed online.

Do you prescribe compounded GLP-1 medications?

No. We prescribe FDA-approved branded GLP-1 medications only.

Can you refill my existing medication?

For most non-controlled medications, yes. Your clinician will review your history and determine whether a refill is appropriate.

States and licensing

What states do you operate in?

14 states currently, with 8 more coming soon. See the full list →

What if my state isn't listed?

Add yourself to our list via our contact page. State demand drives our credentialing priority.

What if I'm traveling?

Telehealth law typically requires you to be physically located in a state where your clinician is licensed at the time of your visit. If you're traveling outside Sinad Labs's coverage area, you may need to wait until you return home.

Privacy and data

Is my information private?

Yes. We are HIPAA-compliant. Read our Notice of Privacy Practices for details.

Will Sinad Labs sell my data?

No. We do not sell your protected health information.
